The cost of uncompetitive facilities adds money to the budget every year, and is also expected to increase yearly, burdening taxpayers long past the 20-year bonds payoff date.WARWICK, RI — The Warwick School Department’s plan for facilities that’ll curb sports-related out-of-district placements snagged with the $50M bond defeat Feb. 3, so now city and school officials are looking for at least $13 million to build the planned fields.
