North Smithfield woman charged for alleged assault on her friend – and a Woonsocket police officer

WOONSOCKET – A North Smithfield lady was discharged from Landmark Medical Middle after an alcohol analysis – probably slightly too quickly.

Samantha L. Plante, 32, of 502 Victory Freeway, faces two counts of assault – one in all them involving a policeman – vandalism and disorderly conduct after a violent incident that started at 281 South Most important St. on Thursday, Could 22.

When officers arrived on the residence about 2 a.m. in response to a noise investigation, police stated they encountered an grownup feminine – a tenant of the residence – outdoors with a bloody lip and scratches on her face, in addition to a parked Mitsubishi with a shattered windshield, in response to reviews.

The girl advised police Plante began “tweaking out” after her boyfriend picked her up from the hospital about two hours earlier.
