Lottery announces two big winners in northern Rhode Island

NORTH SMITHFIELD/GLOCESTER – The Rhode Island lottery introduced two large winners in northern Rhode Island on Monday, June 9 claiming prizes of $10,000 or extra.

In response to the announcement, a person from Woonsocket bought a 24 Karat Linked Wins Prompt Sport from CT Gasoline at 503 Smithfield Highway in North Smithfield and gained $10,000.

In a separate win, a man from Chepachet wagered $5 on a Pink Diamond Crossword e-Instant and claimed $25,000. 

Lottery officials noted that a $32,000 Wild Money jackpot winning ticket remains unclaimed from the drawing on Thursday, June 5, and was purchased at Davenports Family Restaurant at 1070 Mendon Road in Cumberland.
