NORTH KINGSTOWN, RI (WHDH) — An investigation is underway after a single-engine airplane crashed In Narragansett Bay in Rhode Island on Saturday with two individuals on board, officers stated.
Emergency crews responded after a single-engine Pipe PA-24 crashed close to Quonset State Airport round 3 p.m., in line with the Federal Aviation Administration. The 2 individuals who have been on board have been capable of swim to a close-by buoy.
The FAA and the Nationwide Transportation Security Board (NTSB) will examine the reason for the crash.
