Hydrant flushing

Beginning right this moment, Monday, April 7, the North Smithfield Water Division will conduct hydrant flushing within the Slatersville, Forestdale, Nice Highway, Mendon Highway, and Industrial Park areas via Friday, April 11, from 7 a.m. to three p.m. Some flushings may happen in a single day.

Water flushing enhances the water high quality for space residents and companies in keeping with a launch from the division. The method could trigger a brief discount in water stress and a few discoloration, however water officers observe it isn’t dangerous.

Cookie Walk

The North Smithfield Parks and Recreation Division’s annual Easter Egg Hunt will happen within the fields at Pacheco Park beginning at midday on Saturday, April 12. The occasion is open to youngsters ages 2 to eight and their households, and can embrace a go to from the Easter bunny. Screening
