Blasting

The Glocester Police Division is notifying residents that Vinagro shall be blasting in the present day, Tuesday, April 8, at their job website at 812 Putnam Pike between 11 a.m. and three p.m.

Hummingbirds

Concord Library at 195 Putnam Pike will host a consultant from the Audubon on Tuesday, April 8 beginning at 6 p.m. to discuss hummingbirds – simply in time for the season. Company should register to attend the occasion by visiting https://www.glocesterlibraries.org/events.html

Meet & greet

The Ponaganset Education Foundation will host a meet and greet event at Assados Kitchen & Bar at 102 Putnam Pike on Thursday, April 10 from 4 to 7 p.m. Those interested in learning what the organization does and hearing about opportunities to help support events, teacher grants or student scholarships are invited to stop in to enjoy light refreshments and casual conversation.

Desires With out Limits

The Skill Bridge and Tri-M Chapter 7716 will host a cabaret fundraiser within the auditorium of Ponaganset Excessive College at 137 Anan Wade Street on Thursday, April 10 at 6 p.m., an occasion organized by Senior Olivia Picard. The “Desires With out Limits: The place Inclusion Takes Heart Stage” cabaret will showcase native expertise whereas serving to assist inclusive applications, assets, and alternatives for people with disabilities.

Tickets will value $5 for college students and $10 for adults and can go to assist the native organizations.

Comedy evening

John Perrotta’s Comedy Manufacturing facility will maintain a Comedy Night time at Hill’s Tavern and Grill at 417 Putnam Pike on Thursday, April 10 beginning at 7:30 p.m., with doorways to open at 6:30 p.m. Tickets value $15 and may be reserved by calling the Comedy Manufacturing facility Comedy Hotline at (401) 639-7726. Comics will embody: John Perrotta, Rockin’ Joe Hebert, David Morgan, Caren Lioce, Brian Vincent, Elaine Pelino, Debbie DiBiasio, and Hill’s Tavern’s personal Al Hill.

Open Home

Massive John’s Wooden Joint at 15 Cash Hill Street will host an Open Home on Saturday, April 12 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. to rejoice their latest opening. Go to the store to fulfill the house owners of the brand new Glocester enterprise, and luxuriate in raffles and prizes.

Egg Hunt

The city’s annual Easter Egg Hunt will happen on Saturday, April 12 beginning at 11 a.m. on the garden of City Corridor at 1145 Putnam Pike. Kids age 10 and below are invited to take part and will deliver a basket. No registration is required.

The occasion was postponed from the unique date of April 5 because of climate.

City conferences

The Glocester Housing Authority is not going to maintain a gathering on Tuesday, April 8.

The Glocester Land Belief will maintain a gathering on Tuesday, April 8 beginning at 7 p.m. at City Corridor at 1145 Putnam Pike. The agenda is here.

The Glocester Conservation Fee will maintain a gathering on Thursday, April 10 beginning at 7 p.m. at City Corridor at 1145 Putnam Pike. The agenda is here.

The Concord Fireplace District will maintain a gathering on Thursday, April 10 beginning at 7 p.m. on the station at 194 Putnam Pike. The agenda is here.
