Highlander Airborne, Driver Faces DUI Charge March 31

WARWICK, RI — A 39-year-old Portsmouth, RI lady will seem in Third District Courtroom March 31 to reply a DUI charge after she struck an SUV within the WFD lot then launched her Toyota Highlander airborne on the Publish Street rotary Jan. 30.

Officer Katerina Athaide was known as to the Warwick Fireplace Division, 2373 West Shore Road lot at 9:17 p.m. Jan. 30 for a report of a drunk driver working erratically, putting a parked Land Rover SUV. The proprietor of the Land Rover, who had pulled into the lot behind the Highlander driving a WFD rescue, noticed the driving force again into her automobile. She bought out of the Rescue and requested the Highlander driver to place her automobile in park, however the lady stated no, and drove away, in accordance with the officer’s report.
