WARWICK, RI — A West Warwick man arrested for fentanyl possession Jan. 30 after Warwick officers discovered him sleeping in his grey 2003 Nissan Maxima at Marathon Fuel Station, 2400 West Shore Highway, will seem for a Third District courtroom screening Might 19.
Officers Connor Craig and Kyle Fitzsimmons, alerted to the person’s presence by a report of a driver slumped over his wheel on the intersection of Primary Avenue and Jefferson Boulevard, discovered John G. Laprade, 39, of 6 Kent St., West Warwick, in his automotive sleeping on the gasoline station at about 5:19 p.m that day. They knocked, waking him, and requested him to step out.
