CPD Arrests Man For Stolen Vehicle, Eluding Police

[CREDIT: CPD] Jesse Boulais, 18, of 162 Major St., Exeter, was arrested June 10 and charged with possession of a stolen automobile.

COVENTRY, RI – Coventry Police arrested Jesse Boulais, 18, 162 Major St., Exeter, June 10,  charging him with Possession of a Stolen Car, Eluding Police, and Resisting Arrest. 

On June 9th Coventry Police took a report of a stolen automobile which occurred through the  nighttime hours. On June 10 at 10 p.m. , Coventry Detectives noticed the stolen automobile within the  space of New London Turnpike in Coventry.

The automobile fled and was later noticed by West  Warwick Police Division. West Warwick Police tried to provoke a visitors cease of the automobile,  but it surely continued to flee from West Warwick again to Coventry by way of New London Turnpike.  Coventry Officers have been in a position to efficiently use spike strips on the automobile and it got here to relaxation on  Division Highway in West Greenwich a short while later.  

Boulais was taken into custody after a brief foot pursuit and he was arraigned at Kent County District Courtroom in Warwick on the  stolen automobile expenses. He additionally has a number of expenses stemming from the incident with West Warwick Police Dept.  

The Coventry Police Division thanked West Warwick and West Greenwich Police  Departments for his or her help within the stolen automobile arrest.
