CRANSTON, R.I. (WHDH) – A big fireplace broke out at an Applebee’s restaurant in Cranston Wednesday morning.
Heavy flames and smoke might be seen on the website. Firefighters responded to the scene round 5:30 a.m.
Those that stay close by mentioned fireplace alarms have been going off of their houses because of the smoke.
The roof of the restaurant was destroyed by the fireplace.
Metropolis officers mentioned they consider the trigger was a grease fireplace within the kitchen.
No accidents have been reported.
