Ventas Inc. acquired a life science, analysis and medical campus in Windfall, RI from Blackstone Actual Property Companions VIII LP for $130 million. The Chicago-based Ventas ended up with a 269,000-square-foot underway-renovation of South Road Touchdown (SSL), which can be used for educational administration and academic functions, and a brand new storage.
SSL, on Eddy Road in downtown Windfall, is a $220 million redevelopment challenge that’s 100% leased to Brown College and the Nursing Schooling Heart, an initiative between Rhode Island School and College of Rhode Island’s nursing packages. The primary section is anticipated to be accomplished by summer season 2017.
Ventas paid an extra $21 million for adjoining websites focused for growth and redevelopment along side college and analysis firm demand.
