PROVIDENCE – A Coventry man has bee indicted on two counts of fentanyl trafficking stemming from an April 22 arrest following warrant searches of his Windfall and Coventry houses.

Rhode Island’s United States Attorney’s office introduced at present {that a} federal grand jury has returned a two-count indictment charging Christian Rodriguez, 38, of Coventry, RI, with possession with intent to distribute 40 grams or extra of fentanyl and conspiracy to distribute managed substances

Coventry Man arrested April 22 on Fentanyl Trafficking prices

In accordance with data introduced to the court docket, it’s alleged that Rodriguez was concerned in a drug trafficking group that labored out of a stash home in Windfall and provided consumers in Southeastern Massachusetts.

On the time of his arrest on April 22, 2025, regulation enforcement executed court-authorized searches of Rodriguez’s Coventry house and the Windfall house. Brokers seized greater than $100,000 in money, greater than 40 grams of fentanyl, cocaine, and numerous objects used within the packaging of unlawful medication.

Rodriguez is at the moment detained in federal custody.

 The case is being prosecuted by Assistant United States Lawyer Stacey A. Erickson. The matter was investigated by the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration.
