WPD Finds Hit & Run Suspect Sans Car March 3

WARWICK, RI — Warwick Police referred to as to Seasons Nook Market, 2128 Elmwood Ave. March 3 at 8:22 p.m. for a reported hit & run discovered the suspect pacing on foot on Submit Street about an hour later, the Lexus he was driving nowhere in sight.

Based on the report of Officer Jake Reddy, the driving force of the blue Toyota Highlander struck, stated she had pulled into the fuel station in entrance of the pumps to fill her SUV. As she obtained out of the SUV,  man driving a black sedan, later recognized as a 2004 Lexus, backed out of a parking area and into her automobile, inflicting minor injury to the entrance bumper, in line with the report. The 2 made eye contact, the lady stated, and the person started driving away. The lady yelled on the man to cease, and that she was writing down his plate quantity, however he continued, leaving the realm with out stopping.
