WARWICK, RI — Mayor Frank Picozzi’s three appointees to the Warwick Colleges Price range Fee, dated April 9, are actually public in Warwick Metropolis Council paperwork launched with the agenda for the April 21 assembly the place affirmation votes on their appointments might be held.

The Mayor’s three appointees are Ernest Almonte, CPA and Chief Visionary Officer of The Almonte Group LLC, Lincoln educator and former Interim Superintendent for Lincoln Public Colleges David Champagne, and municipal accountant and present Warwick Metropolis Controller Angela P. Murray.

Following their affirmation by the Metropolis Council, the trio will be a part of the opposite two members of the Warwick Colleges Price range Fee, appointed by Warwick Colleges officers. Sherri Kuntze, audit Supervisor at Cavanagh CPAs & Associates, LLC in Warwick was School Committee Chairman Shaun Galligan’s appointee to the 5-member physique. The College Division’s appointee, Joseph Crowley, is retired director of the Warwick Space Profession and Technical Heart.

The enabling laws creating the Warwick Colleges Price range Fee was requested by a resolution of the Warwick City Council in Jauary, after Picozzi proposed it upon studying that the college district confronted a shock mid-year $9 million deficit. The Warwick College Committee had reduced its projected budget deficit to $3.1 million as of Feb. 11.
